Quick Overview

N-GAUGE

This is a high-tech Japanese mono that’s as good as they come. One thing that the development team was adamant about was that the diameter should be absolutely consistent because it was felt that a number of competitor lines were not and the potential to mislead the angler was present. Steve Ringer wanted to make sure that N-Gauge was rated properly for the consumer, yet while still offering unparalleled breaking strain. Lengthy research and field-testing led to the finished N-Gauge. N-Gauge is available in 4lb, 5lb, 6lb, 7lb, 9lb, 12lb breaking strains, which will cover all commercial-water fishing as well as most specialist-angling situations. N-Gauge is super clear, which makes it suitable for even the most gin-clear of waters holding the wariest quarry. It is available on 100m spools, which represents great value for money.

LINES

As the thin strand that connects you to your next fish, a reliable line is vital in any angling discipline. With this in mind, Guru set out to develop completely new lines whose characteristics reflected the challenges that commercial-water angling places on your tackle. The first priority on Alex Bones’ list was to develop a tough reel line that was man enough for hauling in huge bags of hard-fighting commercial carp. Drag-Line was the result. It’s a truly modern mono that has abrasion resistance high on it’s list of many attributes.
Next was a quality hook link line that had the strength to tease carp from snaggy swims as well as being supple enough to fool them in the first place. N-Gauge is the hook link line that Alex and Steve Ringer developed. It’s a premium-quality, extra strong Japanese mono that’s both limp and strong.
